Every week we feature a different artist. If you've missed one or are new to us, you can find them all here.
Elena Marina
Apple County has a wealth of performers whose physical skills are breathtaking, so if you really want the ‘wow’ factor, an aerialist such as Elena Marina will give you just that. Please take a look at her short video which will give you some idea of what you can expect to see in a live performance. If there is no rigging point available to support an aerialist then we can suggest plenty of ground based shows to create a truly memorable occasion.

Elena Marina's "Champagne Rain"
Back in February, we suggested an aerial artist as a very special addition to a special event. Potential bookers like the idea but often don’t have a suitable rigging point and enquiries have not always led to bookings.
So ............ Elena decided to put this right and can now offer ‘champagne rain’ from a free standing 6.4 metre high tripod. She and her colleagues say it can be put up in many different locations so a champagne pouring novelty, or aerial show, may be a whole lot easier to achieve than you think.
Please take a look at this video and get in touch for more details.

Emily Burridge
With technical skill and musical flair Emily Burridge offers a range of beguiling options. Her solo performance of JS Bach’s suites are a joy and her own compositions can be added to the mix creating a unique musical event.
Emily uses sampling technology to build a multi-layered experience, so if you’re used to hearing loops only in current music then Emily’s playing will be a revelation. She’s also part of the duo Incandescendo with inventive percussionist Felix Gibbons – just perfect for cabaret style evenings, concerts and parties.
Looking for something truly unique? Emily also collaborates with pedal steel guitarist BJ Cole. They describe it as electro acoustic chamber music, that’s a new one on us but we have the demos to prove it – please ask.

Week Commencing April 27, 2015: Eventimate
There are times when a Disco is the best or only option and there are times when an exceptional Video Disco would be the best option by far!
Eventimate use all their skill and artistry to put together superb video mashups which will turn your event into an unforgettable experience. The music flows and the dancefloor grooves all night.
They’ll also use the screens to interact with guests via Twitter and screen messaging, so every event is personalised and unique. Their sound and light gear can cope easily with just about any venue – we just need to discuss what you need.
If you think that going ‘the extra mile’ is admirable, these guys go the extra mile and then some!
Please take a look at the video and prepare to enjoy.

The Exmouth Shanty Men
Devon’s “original buoy band” do it with gusto!
The Exmouth Shanty Men are an international award-winning act whose flourishing reputation is founded on the authenticity and integrity of their performance. They dress in period costume and put their songs back onto the decks of tall ships or into dockside taverns where they rightfully belong; splicing together hard-bitten work shanties, gentle forebitters and sea songs delivered with pathos.
They’ve appeared at the 2012 Olympics, the Tall Ships Regatta, theatres, pubs, corporate events & festivals and are described as “just sensational” by BBC’s Judi Spiers. They have recorded 4 albums, featured on TV & radio in several countries and played to enthralled audiences across the UK and Europe.

Now the dust has (almost) settled on another, very successful Carnival, I felt I should write to express my sincere thanks to all the acts and artistes booked through you this year. I only managed to catch glimpses of each of their performances but, without exception, they were all providing wonderful entertainment for the hundreds of visitors to the town centre, and the large crowds they attracted appeared to be fully absorbed and enjoying every moment.
Please can you pass on my thanks to one and all, they really made the day special and memorable.
Thanks also to you for all your assistance. I look forward to working with you again next year......”
