Week Commencing April 15 2013: Mark Jones

Often an event needs someone special to hold it all together, when you really need a professional, hugely-experienced, un-flappable and warm Master of Ceremonies, Compère  or Event Host. So for award ceremonies, conferences, summits, sporting events, black tie fundraisers, trade shows, golf days, Q&A sessions, quizzes, etc. … you won’t be disappointed when you book the widely-experienced radio and TV presenter, Mark Jones. Highly entertaining and perfectly presented, the Matricks Magic & Illusion Show is bound to amaze the most discerning audience.

Alex and Emily are brother and sister which guarantees a unique communication and rapport between them but don’t let that detract from all the hard work, dedication and commitment which has gone into producing  their current show. It’s fast paced, slick and rather quirky, so you’ll be fascinated from beginning to end and they make it all look so easy!

Contact Apple County to see how they can thrill your audience too.

Audiences around the UK have loved him and we hope that you will too.  He was also a great hit on Chris Moyles’ TV show.

You may have to watch the short video a couple of times to truly appreciate what is happening (and to catch the dialogue over the laughter) but it’s certainly worth more than a second look. Please get in touch with Apple County to find out how Matt can make your event even more special.

Week Commencing June 1, 2015: Matthew Baylis

If you’re very easily offended, perhaps you should give this artist video a miss but comedian Matthew Baylis plays on the fact that he’s a bit posh and takes his humour in unexpected directions!

He can adapt his show to suit many different audiences. For instance, when he’s appearing for a younger audience he comes over like a rather bad uncle! Unashamedly middle class, Matthew shares stories about growing up, growing old and parenthood which keep audiences laughing whether it’s a club, private party, restaurant, festival or dedicated comedy night.

“Matthew Baylis, whose mixture of ticklingly dry wit and razor-sharp crowd-work kept the audience feeling as if they were indulging in their favourite guilty pleasure.” The Gazette.
